Alcy's Luncheon June 16th, 2020

This is our cook for the month of June, and what a cook she is.

She makes up her own recipes, and they always turn out great.

We are so sorry that Linda could not be with us, she

she and Roger were on a nice vacation and for an important

visit to see his sister in Montana. His sister lives close to the Canadian border,

Linda said it was like go out the front door and you are in Canada. How fun for them.

Alcy wants to give a special thanks to Sheila for all her help,

and thanks to the others who helped her.

Thanks Alcy for having your luncheon as it was a long time

since our last one due to the corona virus.

We all truly missed seeing each other so we all had

a great visit.

Marilyn has the next luncheon in July sometime.

she will pick her date when she can cook and let

everyone know.

Also thanks to Alcy for the cute little vases all painted really pretty.

Great Cookies she made for us

Yes, Ice Cream is the BEST!!!

Oh how I love ice cream!

Alcy had a un-salad Salad, she put every thing

on the table and then you could choose what

you wanted on your plate.  This was so good.

Onion  Dish

Cut up 5 large onions (10 people) adjust to number serving
Cook in butter till soft, make white sauce in pan or add 2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup.
I can if making less

Pour into casserole, BUTTER FRENCH BREAD OR SOUR DOUGH BREAD AND COVER TOP. Spread cheese(I used Swiss cheese ) on top. Cover with foil and bake at 350 till hot and bubbly. Can leave off foil and cheese will get a little hard.

Rice Pork Dish

DO NOT try OVEN as I did!!!!

Brown pork chops and remove from skillet. Add as much liquid as needed for amount of rice cooking, get brown loose and add rice and chops. Cover and cook till done.

We are all so thankful for everything
Our Good and Faithful Lord gives to us,
and has given.

Bread and Butter pickles, I love.

My arms shadow on the rice dish, sorry about that

but I had to get the pic of it!!!
