Linda's Luncheon Monday July 12th, 2021

 

                                                Yes dessert first!!! 

This is Linda our young lady cook for the month of HOT JULY

She made us a chef salad 

and all the fixings, ham, chicken, cheese, you name it she had it the table for us all to put on what we wanted.  It was so hot that  day

 the salad was the perfect lunch.  Thanks to our young lady Linda for 

preparing this very thoughtful lunch.  Linda wants to thank Sheila 

              for the use of her home for her luncheon as Linda lives in

                     Reno, NV, also Roger like to eat lunch with the guys

                                         So this works out. 

Pat, our baby made us all zucchini bread and a jar of salsa, that

she made that morning.  She has youth on her side, but still

youth or not that was a ton of work to make that for 10 ladies.

Thanks for doing this for us. also thanks for being our baby.

Our Red Bluff Temp was hotter than a firecracker or

a hot tamale.

This is the large loaf of zucchini bread and salsa that Pat made for all of us.  10 for one each.

Worn out from fixing the luncheon.

This cake was from a recipe that her great grandmother made.

Her great grandmother was American Indian, and I wonder where

they got all the ingredients for this cake way back when?

Linda goes all out for our luncheons, and that makes us super happy.

This cake was super good.  Linda is getting pretty fancy to make her great grandmothers cake.

It was delicious.  She said she cannot give out the recipe as it has to stay in the family.

Someone needs to break that cycle so we can get the recipe.

 Maybe they scrapped bark off a certain tree to get some of the ingredients for this cake?  I think I heard Linda whisper

     Below is chicken cut up and also in the red top bowl is

  the ham all cut up.  She has different bread on the side, and also 

zucchini bread

that she made, in the winter and froze it.  To hot to turn on the oven now. Pat would say, get a grip turn on your air and bake a cake.Haha

Alcy and I ate and ate.

Linda is a trouper she brings all this from 

Reno, so she plans it out well.  

Clarisse just had shoulder surgery,  pease pray that 

                              she heals up super fast.   We are happy that Marilyn was able to join us 

                                   She was not able to come last luncheon, and neither was

                                              Linda.  So happy to see you both!!!!
