This is Judy our cook for the month of May. Thanks Judy for the yummy lunch!
Judy is our garden girl and has a ton of plants. I think one of my favorites is
the big green one a few pics down.
Pat we missed you at our luncheon! It was was not the same without you!!
Next month our cook will be Linda and we are all looking forward to her luncheon.

is a October plant I think is the name of it and I love that one. She does have a green thumb and also toe. ha ha
Maple Baked Chinese Chicken
½ cup maple syrup
2 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
2 cloves garlic minces
2 ½ to 3 pounds small chicken legs and thighs
2 tablespoon minced green onion
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
In glass measure with spout, combine syrup, soy sauce,
vegetable and sesame oils, ginger and garlic.
Arrange chicken pieces in single layer in shallow baking
dish. Pour syrup mixture over all. Turn chicken pieces to coat evenly with
sauce.
Bake at 400 degrees 30 minutes, turning several times and
basting with some of
Sauce, until cooked through.
Sprinkle with green onion and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
Judy also served cooked carrots, broccoli, and rice, and
Lemon cake for dessert.
