Alcy's Luncheon, Monday- February 26th, 2018


This is Alcy our cook for the month of February.
Thanks Alcy for the nice luncheon, it was very good.
We all had a good time visiting and of course eating.

    The cook for March will be Nancy on Monday, March 19th




Alcy's Recipies

Chicken

Cut 4 large chicken breasts into strips and put into following sauce:
1 small jar Catalina dressing
1 jar Apricot jam
1 pkg Lipton onion soup mix
Bake at 350 for 45-50 min

Special potatoes    

1- 2 lb bag frozen hash brown potatoes &  mix into following:
1- can cream soup
1- cube melted butter
1- carton (16 oz.) sour cream
2-3 BIG handfuls of grated cheese

Pour into casserole and bake @350 for 45-60 min

White Chocolate Peanut Butter Candy

In large bowl put  2 Cup Rice Crispy cereal
1- C roasted peanuts
2- C miniature marshmallows

In a large microwave bowl put: 1 C peanut butter/ 1 16 oz. pkg. White chocolate chips
Melt in microwave for 1 min or until melted. Stir well and pour over other bowl mixture then put by spoonful onto waxed paper and let cool


The Scotch Shortbread recipe is in every cookbook and the Brownies were from a box mix
